What this workspace manages

• Literature Library: screen, classify, summarize, cite, and compare sources.
• Thesis Structure: turn the research question into chapter objectives, evidence gates, deadlines, and next actions.
• Research Notes: extract claims, quotations, limitations, counter-evidence, and synthesis decisions.

Start here

1. Write the central research question and define the scope, population, time period, and contribution.
2. Screen sources in Literature Library; record the citation key, design, evidence quality, and inclusion decision.
3. Extract one claim or question per Research Note with an exact page/section reference and a limitation.
4. Link notes to a chapter and use Thesis Structure to plan the argument, evidence, and writing work.

Research lifecycle

1. Discover → screen → extract → assess → synthesize → draft → review → cite → revise.
2. Do not mark a source Cited until the supporting passage and its limitation are recorded.
3. Do not mark a chapter Completed until its objective, evidence, counterpoint, citations, and limitations are reviewed.

Integrity gates
